Presentation of a selection of works by Polish artists using the photographic technique from the period between the beginning of World War I and 1948, This period is a specifc epoch in Polish art and culture. The works are presented in two streams. One of them shows the avant-garde, modernist attitude, whereas the other one exemplifies the traditional approach in using photosensitive techniques, which finds its expression in registering an image of the visible world. The collection belongs to the Sztuki Museum of Lodz.
